• Where can I find examples of code usage in CMSSW ?
  • in the CMSSW code itself. E.g. if you would like to use the STL sort algorithm, you can do as follows:

 echo $CMSSW_RELEASE_BASE

If empty, do eval scramv1 ru -csh, then

 cd $CMSSW_RELEASE_BASE/src
 find . -type f | xargs grep sort
