Installation of a dCache v1.9.5 headnode
Hardware setup
- Virtual machine on dom0X
- Describe specs
Software setup
- The machine is deployed with Quattor
- The template is based on a base machine and extended to automatize some dCache related things
- The RPMs for dCache, pnfs, postgres,... are included
- Some files are put with filecopy: storage-authzdb, grid-vorolemap, dcachesrm-gplazma.policy
- local users and pool users are added
- After the installation following steps are done by hand to have dCache up and running InstallDcache195Ext
